The beginning of a legacy
“Nai Lert” or Phraya Bhakdinorasreth (1872-1945) was, in his time, one of Thailand’s most successful entrepreneurs and a key figure in the development of the capital and a founding master developer in Bangkok.
One of many notable achievements, Nai Lert pioneered many firsts to the country, including an ice factory, water taxi and bus transportation, a shipyard, the tallest commercial tower, imports of European vehicles, international food and beverage products, a convenience store, the first hotel owned by a Thai and a rent-a-car company that used imported cars.
Today, Nai Lert Group is a multi-generational success story, focusing on real estate, hospitality, education and culture divisions, specializing in museums, food and beverage, hotels, property development, and academic institutions.
